Stills and video for Headrush – The Bank Heist

Great BTS videos from Matt Barnes and Mike Rybinski two days in a row! These guys are starting to dominate this site! I would love to post videos from other Canadian photographers, but no one else seems to generating the same quantity and/or the quality as these guys. So if you have something to show off, please send it to me! I’m also working the Google Alerts, so if you post it somewhere with a few good key words there’s a good chance I’ll find it.

Anyway… back to Matt and Mike. In the video above we see them shooting a campaign for Headrush clothing. Matt was shooting stills with the Canon 5D Mark III and Mike was shooting video with the Canon C300. The 5D Mark III was chosen for its great low light capabilities, and the whole campaign was shot at ISO 1600 and 3200 with hot lights. This also allowed Mike to shoot video with same lights, so they were able to achieve a very similar feel for both the still and motion aspects of the project.
