In this behind the scenes video we see Scott Pommier shooting the Moto Guzzi 2012 motorcycle advertising campaign. Pommier grew up in Elliot Lake in Northern Ontario and got his start as a skateboard photographer by borrowing his mom’s camera and shooting his friends. From there he moved to Toronto where he shot for some small local magazines and eventually began contributing to major publications like SBC Skateboard, Thrasher and Transworld.
He got into motorcycles after getting arrested in Los Angeles for trespassing while shooting skateboarding at a school. The LAPD confiscated his gear and impounded his car, so while waiting for his trial he bought a motorcycle to get around… something he’d always wanted to do. As his interest in motorcycles grew, it began to influence his photography in ways he never expected, and it would eventually lead to his first big commercial photography gig for Harley-Davidson.
