Nikon Canada announces Android powered Coolpix S800c superzoom with Wi-Fi

Nikon Canada has announced the Coolpix S800c. It’s the company’s first Wi-Fi-enabled compact digital camera, but the big news is that it’s also the first compact camera from a major manufacturer to openly use the Android mobile operating system. Built to integrate Nikon’s imaging technologies with the capabilities and convenience of an Android powered smart phone, it is designed for connected users and allows them to send and publish files quickly and easily from virtually anywhere.
