Home page and other areas of the site down
I just noticed that our homepage and other areas of the site that run on WordPress and not loading properly. All I'm seeing are blank pages and I have emailed our web host to try and figure out what's happening.
Hopefully it's nothing serious. Andrew |

It turned out to be "user error".
I updated a database password on my server, and forgot to update the password for Wordpress. So it couldn't connect to the database anymore. I didn't notice the problem for about a day, so it took me awhile to connect the dots and figure out what I had done. |

If you're talking about the "New Posts" link in the forum menu, that's unrelated to the issues above. What are you seeing when you click on New Posts? I get the message below:
"Sorry, there are no new threads to view. You may search for threads updated during the previous 24 hours, here." That's what you should see unless some one created a new thread in the last 24 hours. |

And I just noticed...
When I click on "Quick Links" > "Mark forums read" there is still a thread in Classifieds that is marked in bold, ie., unread .. Cheers, Don |

Oops, how'd that happen? Extra post deleted.
I'm not sure what's going on Don, because I'm not seeing the same things you are. Anyone else experiencing the same problems? Here's the "New Posts" link we're talking about: |

Hmmmm.
Quick link > mark threads read > logged out > cleared my history. Logged in... The two lens for sale are still marked in bold but do not show as "New Posts". Minor detail but curious ![]() Cheers, Don |
