Content suggestions for home page?

If you've visited the CanPhoto.Net homepage since the relaunch you will notice that I've been making an effort to fill it with some Canadian content embedded from youtube. I would eventually like to start producing some original content for the homepage, and I would love to hear any suggestions and ideas from our members.

Some ideas I have are behind-the-scenes videos, studio tours, interviews, new products, how-to's, etc. If you have any ideas, would like to participate in any of the above, or know of any Canadian content that is available to share on our site, please let me know.

Hey Andrew:
How about short slide shows or videos. I'm thinking photojournalism style of a local event. Or something that shows the artists viewpoint. The point would be to help develope photo and video skills and style.

I would also like encourage any members to consider becoming guest bloggers by contributing content to our homepage. It could be a written article, a video post, or some other creative content. Potential subject matter may include business, marketing, SEO, camera or lighting equipment, computer software… pretty much anything would be considered. So if you have some expertise in an area, and would like to share it with others, please let me know.

If you want to show off some of your latest work or tearsheets, we can discuss that as well. I want this to be a community site, and would love to help our members gain exposure and earn new business.

It can also be a good way to get some links back to your own site and boost your page ranking within search engines like Google. So it can be a win-win for everyone.

Thanks for the feedback Robert! It's much appreciated.

It's tough finding Canadian content to share every week, especially from photographers outside of Toronto. So if anyone in other parts of the country ever has any work to share, or you find something interesting online from a Canadian photographer, please let me know.
