CanPhoto Kits - Looking for submissions for new feature
I'm starting a new feature on our site called "CanPhoto Kits" and looking for submissions.
If you'd like to be featured on our site, all you need to do is send us some creative pics of the equipment in your camera bags or lighting kits, and write a few words about how and why you use it. We'll also include a mini-profile and links back to your site. Let me know if you're interested. Thanks, Andrew Update Sept 12: Check out the first edition of CanPhoto Kits! http://www.canphoto.net/canphoto-kit...eth-armstrong/ |

Someone contacted me yesterday about submitting pictures of their gear. So we should be seeing our first "CanPhoto Kit" soon!

The first edition of CanPhoto Kits has just been published! Thanks very much to Kenneth Armstrong for stepping up and offering to be the first photographer to give us a look inside his camera bag.
http://www.canphoto.net/canphoto-kit...eth-armstrong/ I hope everyone will check out the article and if anyone is interested in being the next photographer featured please send me a PM or use our contact form: http://www.canphoto.net/contact/ |

Well, just got my new Billingham Hadley Pro. WOuld love to show it off. So far I've used it with MF and 35mm gear. Haven't tried the 4x5 yet.

I'm game, Andrew. I have a couple of kits here - 35mm and Medium-format digital. Too. Much. Stuff...
I really enjoyed seeing Kenneth's kit. |

Thanks for offering guys! I'd love to do this at least once a month, so it would be amazing if we could get two more in the pipeline.
I'm open to suggestions and feedback, but I think the format we used with Kenneth worked quite well. It would be nice, however, to see a few more pictures of the gear or images taken with it. Images should be at 640 pixels wide, but a bit bigger is fine too. That way readers can click on the image if they want to see a larger version I know you're all busy, so a couple images and a few short paragraphs is fine. If you're really not comfortable putting something in writing, maybe we could do a Skype or phone interview, and then I could transcribe your words. I also need a short bio and a headshot. You can also email me if you have something ready or have more questions: andrew [a] canphoto.net. Thanks again. Andrew |

Are you guys are still interested in submitting something to CanPhoto Kits? I'd love to get a new article posted for October, so please please let me know if you're working on anything.
Cheers, Andrew |

Sorry - I was out of town for a couple of weeks in Cuba. Strange place, great for photography! One camera, one lens, too... I'll see what I can scare up in the next few days.
