Nikon D3 Series wanted
Hi All:
I am looking for another Nikon D3 series DSLR. Any of the range would be satisfactory, the D3,D3s,or the D3x. Obviously the x would be preferable, but I have a limited budget, so perhaps not feasible. I would also consider a D700,perhaps. I have been checking all the usual outlets, but either there are none, or what is available has been heavily used and I am not into having cameras in the shop instead of my bag. I figured approaching my peers, can't hurt. Thanks in advance. Cheers, Peter Peter Wm. Richardson Photojournalist peterw@journalist.com |

...another D3? I didn't know you were shooting digital. I have a D3X I bought in a fit of pique a little while ago, which is an amazing camera but I'm not entirely sure it's really for me. We should talk. Contact me off-line.

I have a D3, with the latest/most current firmware (5.02 + Buffer Memory Expansion) performed by NPS. I'm not looking to sell it per se, but I would consider it. I'm the second owner, the first being Photographer Paul DiMock (http://www.pauldimock.com/). It currently has appx 67,000 actuations on it. It's never been dropped, mis-handled, or been used in extreme temperatures but for the one time in February - however, I've been using it regularly since and have no complaints whatsoever.
