It is an interesting idea and not one that is that hard to accomplish. Except for the cell phone, I have done this on several occasions, though mostly for less than 30 days and it is very refreshing, I might add. You would be amazed at how much time one has, by simply turning off the computers!

I spent my childhood living without running water, functioning sewer, telephone, tv, or - for a while - electricity.
I know I can go off the grid. I do it when I camp. But just because I *can* doesn't mean I *have* to. Because I'm growed up now, and have all the things I didn't have as a kid. Save for tv, because well, tv sucks. That's why we have netflix. |
