Yellowknife-based photographer Dave Brosha discusses “small” studio lighting and how it can be used to your advantage to execute both indoor and outdoor concepts in this two-hour talk in the Calgary, Alberta area (Jan 28 2012).

Instruction includes the various lights and modifiers, such as softboxes, beauty dishes, umbrellas and more, that make up a typical studio and location kit. In addition, Dave will demonstrate in a live demo some of his on-location lighting tricks and techniques that have resulted in the creation of some of his most well-known images.

Join Dave Brosha as he brings his international expertise on the environmental portrait to Cochrane!

Hi Darwin:
I'll second all that Andrew said and add that I wish I had time to fly to Cochrane. The whole thing does sound very interesting.
Cheers,
Peter
