Canon mirrorless camera unveiled

An official announcement is expected on Monday, but thanks to Digicame-info.com we can show you the first image of the eagerly anticipated Canon mirrorless camera. The image shows the camera, rumoured to have an APS-C sized sensor, with a new EF-M 22mm F2 STM lens. As a Canon user myself I have been waiting for a camera like this, but I must say I’m disappointed to see there is no viewfinder, electronic or otherwise, built into the camera. I’m pretty sure they will have an optional viewfinder that mounts on the hotshoe, but that’s another accessory to buy and carry. It also means you can’t use the viewfinder and a flash at the same time. That’s a big disappointment for me, but what do you think? Will you be buying this new camera?
